Life Mentoring

Life is difficult. Let's face it. We have stressful jobs, long commutes, busy home lives with our children and families, and difficult relationships. It can be challenging to find one's way through all of this. Add to that, many institutions such as strong community or a tight family that once helped to support us do not play the part that they once did in our lives. If we are truly to take a holistic approach to health then these things are all important.

A life mentor is one who comes alongside another person's journey with a listening ear, wise counsel, and life guidance in a safe environment. Mentors are trustworthy people with whom you can share triumphs, defeats, emotions, concerns and new ideas, receiving in turn guidance, support and encouragement. The best mentors help develop the insight and self-awareness that assist with integrating professional life, personal concerns, health and core values.

"A mentor is someone who sees more talent and ability within you, than you see in yourself, and helps bring it out of you." - Bob Proctor
